Our Mission
While we are not a full service rescue, our goal is to help be the "missing link" that is often needed to assist with getting the animals to their respective rescues. While there are so many wonderful rescues out there, we found that there were so many other variables involved in the process to actually get the animals to these rescues. This included a need for a network of short-term fosters, volunteer transporters and helping to fund-raise to get the animals the vet care to help them get to the wonderful rescues that give them a second chance.
We are a new 501c3 non-profit organization but are not new to the rescue effort. After spending years trying to keep up with helping animals in the California's central valley shelters - helping transport them out of shelters, trying to catch dogs on the side of busy roads and experiencing the heartache when these animals were killed on the side of the roads or euthanized for no other reason than lack of space and lack of funding & support, we decided it was enough. It was time to come together in a more organized and professional fashion to formally address this problem and provide assistance to those out there already helping.
We strive to help animals in the most dire situations and the most struggling shelters in California, currently much of our work in focused in the central valley.
